Suddenly, countless tree branches snapped as a trap went off. Immediately, countless sharp wires lifted up from the ground and pulled, the sharp strings intertwined in dozens of spots, trapping Currway.
"You joke!" Currway immediately slammed his foot hard into the ground in order to lunge forward. His strength was more than capable to effortlessly destroy this trap that "bound" him.
However, that required being able to use the strength.
As soon as he slammed his foot into the ground, it gave as the ground shattered, revealing a pit that had been dug for him. He didn't even fall. No, he was strung up mid-air, with no access to any surface to exert leverage with.
Hazy stepped out of the shadows. He didn't speak, nor did he order with his body. The plan was already in motion, and nothing would stop it.
