Lily reached into his pouch as fast as his hands could move, taking out a mana potion. This time, he was not interrupted. He swiftly drank it then immediately launched another volley.
"Orbital Flame!" The fireballs shot toward the White Tiger as his eyes focused, "Harder!" He pushed them harder, willing them to move faster. They were still too slow. The tiger leapt and dodged them without much effort.
"I'm better than this." Lily muttered under his breath. He could still remember the expectations put upon him. Opportunities he would have never had, if it weren't for the influence of Lumi. Would he let him down on his first real showing?
No, he would not let it be so! And yet…
What was he doing wrong?
