The doctor told Shuu as he went out of the room. He looked sorry for Shuu, but Shuu pretended he could not see the doctor and kept his eyes on Rin, who was sleeping on the bed.
"I will leave you alone for now as well. Boss Honda might come looking for you soon because you are both pretty and young. Just… make sure you keep yourself safe here."
Sasha, the kind guide who helped him out, finally left with one last look back at Shuu.
Shuu felt overwhelmed with all that had happened up until now, and for the first time, he felt like he was allowed to take a deep breath and look around.
The first thing he noticed was that Rin looked older. He looked like he was around five years old, and his hair had turned brown. Shuu had not seen his eyes, but he doubted they were still red.
