Lunch time was an awkward affair in the imperial palace. The table had been set and both Lady Elysia and Lady Canarie were invited.
They both arrived one after another, and headed toward the head seat and immediately took the seat beside the Emperor's.
As per the customs, that seat was reserved for the Imperial family, but since there was no empress, it was free territory. Especially since the rumors about the current companion said that he was too lax and easy-going.
