The smile slipped from Lady Elysia's face at that announcement. Her eyes turned cold and she turned her marked arm toward the Princess.
"Excuse me, Princess, but are you saying that this mark is a fake one? Are you going to be firm about your words, no matter the outcome?"
Lady Elysia asked, and Princess Danielle felt a hint of suspicion and fear at that bold claim.
She had not doubted her father about anything, but knowing his obsession with power and influence, it would not be too far-fetched to fake all of this.
But still, this was a diplomatic issue and needed to be treated carefully…
"We cannot make a decision about such a thing on our own. I will ask my father to send the person he found as well. Once we have you both here, we can check with the temple about the validity of your claims."
