The royal court was in full session. After almost a year of peace and silence, it was finally filled to the brim once more as they all welcomed the 'companion' sent here by Princess Danielle's father.
The beautiful female with caramel hair and green eyes stood in front of Emperor Kaiden and the court. Her eyes looked at Shuu with curiosity and disdain before she masked it all and had a small bow.
"I present my greetings to Emperor Kaiden and his court. My name is Canari Hanerson, daughter of Duke Hanerson and also Princess Danielle's cousin. I am honored to have been chosen as your companion."
She bowed to show her respect, but no one spoke to let her know that she could raise her head.
She tried to look up, but Emperor Kaiden seemed to have no interest in her as he continued to look at his companion sitting beside him.
