Su Long looked at Fu Sheng, seeing the deep exhaustion etched into his face after the brutal fight at Tiger Alley and the heavy conversation with his mother.
"Go to him, Fu Sheng," Su Long said softly, her voice filled with gentle warmth. "Fu Teng has been waiting in his room all night. He needs to know you're back safe, and he needs his older brother right now."
Fu Sheng looked at her, the tension in his shoulders finally beginning to melt away. He gave a quiet, tired nod.
Su Long stepped closer, reaching up to gently touch his cheek. She offered him a small, tender smile, her eyes soft in the dim light of the hallway. "I'll go check on Wei Milan and make sure the rest of the house is settled. Don't worry about anything else tonight."
Before Fu Sheng could speak, Su Long leaned in close, pressing a soft kiss against his cheek.
