We stood there for a moment after Han Fuji left.
No one spoke.
Then I turned and walked into the house.
"Let's go inside," I said.
Everyone followed behind me.
The moment we stepped in, I slowed down slightly.
The space was large, just as we saw from outside, but it was obvious no one had lived here for a long time. Dust covered almost everything. The floor looked dull, the tables had a thin layer of dirt, and even the air felt heavy.
Fu Li frowned as she looked around.
"This place has not been cleaned in a long time," she said.
Fu Tong stepped in behind her and coughed lightly.
"If we stay here like this, we will not even be able to sleep properly."
I nodded.
"Then we clean it first."
There was no need to say more than that.
Fu Fei had already started moving. She walked toward one of the side rooms and pushed the door open.
After a short moment, she called out,
"There are some cleaning tools here."
We all walked over.
