But unlike the mindless creatures he'd encountered in the upper Labyrinth, these specimens moved with purpose that suggested genuine intelligence.
Their forms stabilized into configurations that appeared deliberately chosen rather than randomly adaptive—one developed what looked like armored plating, another extended blade-like appendages, and the third restructured itself into a more aerial configuration with wing-analogues that allowed hovering movement.
Rey's enhanced perception analyzed their formations with cold calculation.
'They're coordinating,' he recognized. 'Not just reacting to threats, but positioning themselves strategically. The armored one will anchor and defend, the bladed one will attack, and the aerial one will provide support and mobility. This is tactical thinking.'
This made them far more dangerous than a simple Tier 6 Chaos Dweller.
