As the silhouette's distorted words echoed within the darkness, Rey kept his eyes closed.
He felt a strange sensation.
A hint of excitement, but also disappointment.

'Why didn't I see it earlier? Was I so focused on my own plans and the bigger picture that I failed to take the necessary precautions?' He asked himself these questions, but also knew he was being a little too unfair.
