Jacob interrupted Samara with his voice turning into that of someone who had lost everything in his life.
"Does your offer still stand?"
Hm?
Gently pushing Samara aside, Jacob walked in my direction, and stood before me.
I simply nodded my head a little without speaking a word.
Right now, looking at Jacob, he felt like a completely different person from the one that I had talked to a few minutes earlier.
His tears had now dried, making the skin on his face look a little sticky.
Though his eyes were a little red... looking closely, they now seemed to have gained some sort of enlightenment.
"Brother... please listen to me."
Samara quickly caught up with her brother, as she placed her hand over his arm, before trying to look into his eyes.
Jacob on his part didn't respond to her attempt.
