"It's past 6.00am already", Erica said as she stood up from the bed and took a look at the clock again,she immediatelybrushed her teeth and ran off to Vida's room and woke her up.
"Leave me,I want to sleep", Vida said in her cute baby voice as she hid under the blanket and rolled over to the other side.
" You'll be late for school,and you might miss your bus",Erica said.
With this Vida hurriedly came out of bed like someone stung by a bee and was about going to brush her teeth but Erica held her hand,"let's pray first". They knelt down beside the bed and said their prayers after which Vida went to brush her teeth and take a shower. Erica went downstairs straight to the kitchen to prepare breakfast -Bacon and eggs(Vida's favorite dishes),The aroma filled the whole room.
Vida was already getting dressed but was distracted by it,she went to the kitchen
"What's cooking ,Big sis?",she asked.
"Your favorite", Erica replied softly.
She stretched further and saw some Pasta cooking on the other side,quite curious,she asked;
"You expecting someone or going to see someone?"
Erica replied,"Today's mom visiting day at the hospital ,so I'll go there after dropping you off"
"Can I go with you?",she asked politely
"No dear,you have to go to school", Vida face turned sour and her expression changed,Erica noticed it.
"Don't be sad,pumpkin,we'll go see mum together on Friday".
"Hurray",her face brightened with joy,
"You're the best" she told Erica and went up to the room to dress up completely.
Erica hastened up with her cooking and served the meal on the table,she also packed up the meal for her mom and added some milkshakes. She called out to Vida to come have breakfast and went to freshen up.
Vida came to the dining table, she looked at the meal before her ,her mouth watering,she was about to eat but stopped,waiting for her Sis to come.
Her tummy whispered to her ,"you're going to wait for a really long time" .
That was true though,as Erica always took her time to dress up "Never to be caught unfresh", Vida was tempted but was still patient enough. Surprisingly Erica came out quickly more quickly than expected.
She put on a simple dress with floral prints on it ,her hair tied to thebback ,she didn't put on any form of makeup but her beauty was quite astonishing ,something that so rare,her curls fell on her face and she walked with grace.
"Why haven't you started eating?"
"I was waiting for you to come out",Vida replied.
"So sweet,I'm here now let's eat"
As she had a taste ,her face lit up,"This is so delicious ,I'm gonna have all of it" Vida said and began to rush the meal
"Take it easy,or the food will get stuck",Erica reminded her.Vida ate up the food and was done in minutes.
"Thank you so much sis,you are the best,most beautiful sis with exceptional skills",she said and Erica blushed.
"Aren't you the cutest little sis",Erica replied her as she touched her cheeks
"It's 7:00am,I don't want to miss my bus"
"That's right",Erica stood up and Vida packed the dishes and put them in the sink .
They boarded a cab that took them straight to the bus stop ,Erica bade Vida goodbye and went to th hospital,after filling in the required forms she was allowed to see her mum.

Miss Camila Leo Browns now looked pale,pathetic and pitiful,after a car accident of which Mr Zach Leo Browns lost his life,Mrs Camila's faced serious trauma and in the process of going through all that ,she lost her mind,at some point she'll be normal but when it hits her ,she becomes aggressive and violent to whoever was around her ,she suffered this for about 5 years. This mental crisis was followed by another level of insomnia.
She has been in the hospital for close to a year now with no improvements.
"Mum,Erica said tapping her softly ,Camila looked faintly at the person before her ,her complete replica;"Baby ",she said to Erica .
Erica smiled at her and was extremely happy. "You've grown so much",Camila said .
Of a truth,Erica the first daughter of the Browns could be mistaken for a 20yr old whereas she was only 16.Her body developed quite rapidly than her other peers,this caused her so much attention from boys and even her friends admired her physique,slim,tall and slender with wide hips,tiny curved lips offering her a model like appearance,something so irresistible.
"How are you mum?"
"I'm fine,how is Vida and your brother Josh?,your Aunt Kira and her kids?,how's everything? ,your studies?,have you gotten admission?..."
Before she could continue ,Erica cut in
"You worry too much,look! I brought some Pasta and Beef curry for you,I know you'd love it and milkshakes as well"
She said as she unpacked the food and gave it to her,Camila was about to start eating but Erica collected the spoon and fed it to her mum herself . Camila only smiled as she opened her mouth ,in her thoughts she thanked God for blessing her with such a child.
"Who taught you how to cook so exceptionally well,the food is so delicious?"
"Obviously I learnt from the best,no other person than my lovely mum here",Erica said smiling as she continued feeding her.
"Have some for yourself"
"Don't worry mum ,I've eaten already,Vida's fine,and Josh to(she wasn't quite sure about Josh,he hadn't spoken to her in a while though but she only said it to stop her mum from getting worried),Aunt Kira is doing great,I went to see them last month or so,and concerning my admission (she paused quietly and shook her head).
Camila patted her calmly reassuring that every thing would be fine
They talked about some other things and Erica checked the time realising she had less than 20minutes,the Nurse had already come to inform her.
She began to carefully pack up,ready to leave."Please take care of yourself ,mum and always take your drugs ,I promise I'll come see you on Friday along with Vida",Erica said .
Before going she prayed for and with her mum,her mum kisssed her on the forehead and bade her goodbye.Erica didn't want to leave but she had to as she fought to stop the tears that were about falling from her eyes.
The Nurse came in again,Erica knew it was time to leave,saying a calm goodbye she left and went to see the doctor after which she left the the hospital .
Boarding another taxi,she was about to go home but changed her mind to go see her best friend Chloe,she has longed delayed this visit,seizing this opportunity she went there.
The doorbell rang ,Chloe was alone at home and went to get the door as she mumbled about who could be disturbing at this time.
The doorbell rang again,"I'm coming ",she yelled.
She opened the door and to her surprise she saw Erica ,she quickly hid her smile and said coldly;
"Look who came to visit"
"Ummm,if I'm not welcome I can leave",Erica said softly
"Wait,can't you take a joke?",Chloe asked
Erica hugged her tightly and happily,Chloe hugged her back ,the two looked so admirable.
"Come have a seat"
"Sure",Erica said and sat down
They both chatted for a long time,cracking jokes and other things.
A notification rang in her phone,it was an update from a group chat for all people leaving in that street. Chloe hissed and kept it.
"What's that ?",Erica asked her
"It's just a message from my group chat",Chloe replied.
"It's nothing serious".
"At least open it,it might be something important",Erica said,Chloe was unwilling but Erica kept persuading and she had to open it.
"See,I told you,it's nothing important",she was about keeping the phone then something caught her attention
"O my word!",Chloe exclaimed
Erica looked at her somewhat confused.
"The Anderson's just relocated to this street and their son Jason Parker Anderson,the son of the Wealthiest business tycoon moved along with them"
Erica tried to comprehend it a bit ,then it crossed her mind.
"Jason Parker ,your celebrity crush,the guy you always talked about then in high school,you both were classmates then n your dad also walked in one of his dad's companies?"

He's everything a girl could ever want in a guy,he's my dream guy ,infact I'm sure he's every girls' dream,Chloe said
"Not every girl(Erica said indignantly)
Though,I'm very happy for you,now you'll get the chance to know him and hopefully ...."
Chloe cut her in "What if he doesn't like me,he never noticed me then",she said sadly "I think I should merge you too both ,he'll surely fall in love with you ,you know to well that no normal guy can resist you,even the abnormal ones can't "
They both giggled.
Erica advised her, "You won't know unless you give it a try,if you truly like him and it's not some kind of infatuation,he'll surely like you, so just chill and don't fret about it,okay?"
Hugging her ,Chloe thanked her.
"I don't know what I'll do without you",Chloe said
"You'll probably become foolish",Erica said and stood up ready to run.
Chloe chased her ,they both laughed and ran till they became tired.
Erica checked her time
"I have to pick up Vida in time or she'll get angry at me"
"Alr darl,love you,I'll text you when you get home"
