My love never ending for you

Chapter 1: The Stranger in My Dreams

Tucked away near the foothills of the misty mountains, far from the city's neon lights, sat a quaint little house. It was a place of surreal beauty, surrounded by a kaleidoscope of vibrant flowers that looked as though they had been painted by a master artist. However, this morning, the tranquility was shattered by a sharp, elderly voice.

"Shao Chi! Get up this instant! How long do you plan on sleeping?"

Grandma Chi Chao stomped into the house, her traditional robes rustling with every irritated step. She stood before a locked door and hammered on it. Receiving no answer, she pushed it open, finding Shao Chi sprawled across the bed in a deep, chaotic slumber. Losing her patience, Grandma grabbed a mug of ice-cold water and splashed it directly onto Shao Chi's face.

"Gah! What happened?!" Shao Chi jolted awake, wiping her eyes. "Grandma! Why did you ruin my dream? I was seeing Taisū again!"

Grandma sighed, pressing her hand to her forehead. "You've been reading that silly book again, haven't you? 'My Love Never Ending for You'... for the 603rd time?"

"666 times, Grandma!" Shao Chi corrected, fixing her messy hair. "Every line feels like a memory from a past life."

"Stop daydreaming," Grandma snapped. "The garden needs fertilizer. Go shower, then head to the market."

Shao Chi dragged herself to the bathroom. As the warm water hit her skin, the walls began to fade. Suddenly, she wasn't in her shower anymore. She was in a celestial garden draped in silver mist. A hauntingly beautiful flute melody drifted through the air, vibrating against her soul. She walked toward the sound and saw a tall, ethereal man standing behind a massive ancient tree.

Is this Taisū? Her heart hammered against her ribs. Just as she reached out to touch his shoulder—

"Shao Chi! How long does it take to shower? Hurry up!" Grandma's voice shattered the vision.

Later, on her way to the market, Shao Chi stopped at a local sushi stall owned by the energetic Zhiling. "Five pieces to go, please," Shao Chi said hurriedly. Zhiling handed her the pack with a warning: "Be careful eating while walking!"

Shao Chi didn't listen. As she savored a piece of sushi, chaos erupted. A tall man in coal-black clothes and a dark mask sprinted through the crowd, chasing someone. He collided violently with Shao Chi, sending her crashing to the ground.

"My sushi!" she screamed, watching her lunch scatter in the dirt. The masked man didn't apologize; he was already pinned in a brutal street fight a few yards away. Fuming with rage, Shao Chi hurried home.

"Grandma, you won't believe the rude jerk I met!" she shouted, entering the house.

Grandma smiled calmly. "Forget that. Meet our new gardener, Ming."

A young man stepped out from behind the curtain. Shao Chi's breath hitched. Those eyes... that silent aura... he was the man from her dream. And yet, he looked exactly like the masked brawler from the market.

"You...?" she whispered, her heart skipping a beat.
