"The guide doomed us. is what i am saying" Racine tapped the stack of paper in front of Carlyn, "Say if you got a game and all the stuff you put into it got leaked what are you gonna do?"
"File a lawsuit?" Carlyn mumbled, "Yeah I'm kidding.. I be changing somethings"
"Exactly" Racine tapped on the stack of papers, "Look here about the information about the Undead" Racine showed a paper in front of Carlyn, "Because there was not much information shared it was at least a bit manageable but what about this"
Racine pushed forward the folder of the monsters that would appear soon, "This thing got a whole lot of information and that means it be 'easier' in some sense what are you gonna do when that happens?!"
Carlyn's face became distorted, "You strengthen it? No A simple adding to the quantity would make it work"
"I looked into the guide regarding the colors we saw and it seems to be connected to what they call eight guides and what i found out is terrible"
"The information was [Black] [Green] and [Red] Only that means one thing" Racine said with a sleep deprived look, "The person who made the guide wasn't able to gather information to the other guides, that means that [Red] Thing killed them no stop them"
Racine showed a corresponding sentence on the guide, 'The guides handle multiple stages each'
"Humanity or the person who write the guides died between the stage 15-20"
Carlyn lets out a sigh, he then placed a hand on Racine's shoulder, "Man, You need to calm down"
"...What?" Racine slurred.
"Like calm down. Why are you suddenly so insistent on printing and pondering on things" Carlyn softly said, "Its only been twelve hours since what happened you need to have a bit of rest your clearly not on the right space"
"What? Are you like for real?! Are you crazy?! The Time limit is only 32 days only are you so su-" Racine paused when he saw Carlyn giving a slight wince.
"No one seems on their right mind this time" Carlyn explained, "I-I I just got myself killed and watched others i know got killed too"
"Maybe this is how you deal with things but I'm more of the type who just wanted to have some time alone" Carlyn sat Racine down slowly on one of the empty chairs, "Let's settle down for a bit"
Now that the two of them sat across each other Carlyn crossed his fingers together, "Now Racine i noticed you haven't been joining on the canteen and you mostly only drink things especially sealed things that is actually something i wanted to talk to you about that is why i came here. The chief thinks your poisoning the food'
Racine eyes glanced on the printed paper, "Seriously?"
"Everyone just seem on edge after the whole suffocating, falling to death, and stomp to death that happened now everyone was a bit more bolder" Carlyn let out a long dragged sigh, "Poisoning the food? Why would you even do something like that?!"
"I think we the conversations were supposed to have derailed completely" Racine stated as he squirm around his seat his mind calculating how fast he could get to the door, 'Where even was Lyka? That blasted woman'
"What happened to you back there?" Carlyn inquired, "Did you get got killed too?"
"No" Racine realizes, "I was a bit too occupied that I didn't exactly pay much attention. Was all of us in this country squeeze in the same space?"
"What part of the fortress did you find yourself in?" Carlyn asked.
"To the Southeast part"
"I did too"
Racine blinked, "Oh Fuck"
"Yes?"
"I think i might have accidentally expose whatever my ability was to those around me" Racine put a hand over his face, "They must have noticed and protected me because after being suffocated for a bit i was able to breathe properly again to the point i was able to see someone familiar to the crowd"
"That means you can't stay here for long" Carlyn shook his head, "Those might pressure us to force you to join them heck multiple groups might even fight just to get hold of you"
"Maybe the whole traveling thing wasn't so bad" Carlyn replied, "A much more stronger group might even help you survive the upcoming wave of monsters"
Racine then remembered the monsters attraction towards him, "I think i might be too troublesome to keep around for any group to take in"
Carlyn let out a dry laugh, "Can you believe it? It's like the whole world was just falling apart Damn"
"Damn, I would really like to just get back home and play my computer games right now" Racine slump down to the table, "Just what the hell is the guy who made the guide is doing right now? If they got so many meta knowledge can't they just make things better? Why does it seems like they are making it worse"
