Racine was surprised to find himself still in his bed despite the clear signs of sun already up.
'What are they up to this time?' His eyes narrowing down to the door.
A minute passed like that.
Then another.
A sound of commotion then made its way to Racine's attention. He climb down from his bed, he approached the window to get an understanding what might actually be happening outside.
'Did the Undead Finally broke free from their chains?'
'Did a pack of Sigbin made their way inside the place?'
'Did that bastard, Adriel finally come?'
Racine's eyes snapped forward on the shadow that looms closer to the unopened door.
His feet make way towards the table, His hands lifting one of the wooden chair.
Exactly as the door unlocked, He throw the chair towards the person coming inside.
Racine heard a hiss coming from whoever just made their way in but his hand quickly throw yet another chair that the other person dodged by dodging to the side.
With an overwhelming speed this guy proceed to tackle arrive within Racine's close proximity with just a few steps.
Racine felt his inside flip inside out with the way his body slammed straight into the table, a hand covering his mouth.
His hands tried to shove the other off him only to press into something soft?
Racine glared at the owner of the hand that covers his mouth, His eyes locking with a young woman similar to the one on his dream before.
"I know I'm Pretty" The young woman said to her and Racine cringed, "I'm Lyka by the way"
Racine bit her hand, throwing his head to the farthest he could go before slamming his head straight into Lyka.
Lyka staggered away and Racine didn't miss a second lifting the one of the table by its legs and pushing it with his body to pin Lyka to the wall. his head still buzzing.
'Why is no one coming?' A sense of suspicion make Racine pause before Lyka swept him off from his feet with a kick and the two of them tussled with Lyka clearly winning.
Racine clearly understand his disadvantage with awakeners after engaging with multiple scuffles, grabbing the leg of the now broken chair, Racine smacked it straight towards Lyka's face.
Seemingly annoyed by what he did, Racine realize that on the whole tussle earlier Lyka was holding back.
With one strike Racine was hurled to a nearby wall, experienced with being smack he could recognize that he must have broke a rib his body slumping down to the side.
'FUCK AM I THIS FUCKING PATHETHIC!!! IF ONLY I HAD A GUN!! I SWEAR I KILL ALL OF THIS WEIRDOS BEFORE THEY EVEN GET CLOSE'
Racine was lifted by his collar, Lyka or Whatever the woman said her name was.
"Are you done?" She said with clear distaste.
Racine didn't dare bother anymore accepting his fate, his feet dangling to the air.
'Just put me down already!!' Racine thought uncomfortable to the fact that even when he tried to tip toe his feet was left unable to touch the ground.
Racine then spotted the cuff on Lyka's wrist, "Wait.. Are you captured here too?"
"Yeah" Lyka answered, "I was in the process of escaping when i ran into you"
"Put me down" Racine demanded throwing his feet up and down a blood dropping on his nose.
'FUCK IT JUST HEALED LIKE A WEEK AGO' Racine winced as he touch his broken nose, 'I was barely even able to smell anything with it. for sure after this i might not even be able to smell anything at all'
'Maybe that's why i was unable to be under whatever that old hag's ability was again'
"Did I shook your head too much?" Lyka waved her hand in front of Racine, "Hey at least answer some of my questions. I just popped out of this place after that game"
"No one came" Racine stated, "Usually those guys would come running if there was even a sound of a utensil hits the floor"
Racine turned to the door behind Lyka.
It was closed.
There's no way it would be closed, Because exactly when Lyka got in.
Racine had thrown the chair obviously he didn't just do it for a surprise he does it so the piece of chair could get stuck on the door and he could ran his way out if he had just managed to subdue or put some distance with whoever came in.
