Alex woke up with a gasp causing Okarina who was poking his cheek to jump away.
"What the fuck was that!" Alex sat up and patted his body down only to find none even though his clothes were neat.
Laying into the cold tile floor of the meeting room Alex glanced at Racine who was writing down something.
"We experienced the evil being's trickery" Okarina laid down beside Alex, "But worry not The goddess would surely save us all"
"Salt" Racine mumbled, "We need salt"
"Would that even work?" Alex questioned, "Is it on the survival guide?"
"No but weren't those things afraid of salt! Literally every mythological being we had in this country was against salt" Racine stated he then turned to Okarina.
"Do you have any salt here?"
"Sir Duke there is no such thing as salt in this humble abode" Okarina shook her head.
"Where did the Sir Duke come from?" Alex commented beside her.
"Are you there?" A voice make the three of them flinch.
Okarina casted the same warm bright light again this time much more stronger.
Alex lifted the meeting table up and Racine hid behind him.
"Calm your tits down will ya?" A head popped inside the meeting room.
The head was immediately hit by two chairs yet despite sagging a bit to the side the figure continued to get inside.
"Blind it" Racine mouthed towards Okarina.
Okarina was about to cast again when Alex spoke.
"Wait!! I knew that thing!" Alex pointed at the sagging figure with its head rotated oddly to the side its face unseen.
"Boss?" Alex questioned and the puppet almost like it was cut from its string slammed down face first on the ground.
A moment of recognition appeared on Racine's face, "Ellaine"
"You two dumbass do you know how hard i have to do just get my way in and find you??"
"My sister!" Alex approached the humanoid doll, "Is my sister safe?"
The voice of Cristina come out of Ellaine's mouth, "I'm safe"
an unknown tension loosen from Alex's body and Racine watching the scene can't help but look away.
"My Almighty Goddess blessed you with this through me" Okarina said pushing a pair of blue gloves towards Racine, "May the cold never bother you anyway~"
Racine frowned still he accepted the gloves.
"Really?! Your gonna come and fetch us?" Alex exclaimed he then turned towards Racine and Okarina, "Sir bob will fetch us!"
"With the jeep?" Racine inquired.
Alex shook his head, "With the Trycle"
"What?" Racine blurted out.
"Sir Bob's ability was not exactly on driving jeepney's its a probability instead-"
Racine covered Alex's mouth not wanting to hear more.
Racine the approached the humanoid puppet Ellaine, "Can i come?"
The puppet blink its eyes then open its mouth again, "I'm afraid our camp can't sustain the agroo you are pulling with you"
"What?" Alex placed his hand on Ellaine's cheeks, "But Boss"
"It's Alright" Racine said, 'I'm not even a healer to begin with'
Racine didn't exactly wasted his time just doing nothing.
With Okarina and Alex as test subject he tried of if he might have some sort of ability.
But other than restoring mana he doesn't seem to be able to do anything at all.
It could be either one of the two.
He could actually heal people but he wasn't able to heal the two because of their corresponding restrictions to their abilities
Or He could give mana and back then the reason why Alex had been saved was because he had given mana enough for Alex to heal himself.
Either way all this thinking and talking was beginning to exhaust Racine.
He had to find Adriel.
