Alex Santos had a strange condition Congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP)
Because of that Alex had his whole childhood sealed within the house.
After all boys like to play rough, ran around, jump around and even rough house.
Alex can't do that.
Because he won't even feel if he had any injuries.
Even in the house Alex would get cuts and bruises from running into things, he even had a leg injury that he didn't know that caused him to have a limp as he grow older.
When Alex got a little order, He was unable to converse properly with his peers making him isolated.
Maybe its for the fact he can't feel pain that he also grow to lack the understanding in empathy when others got hurt around him.
He really, really tried to be normal.
Stupidly he even pretend to be in pain at times he considered he should be.
But his strangeness always stood out.
Alex was always have been invited yet he was not welcomed.
Thats why Alex prefer to play games, People welcomed him there, of course there is some toxic gamers too.

Despite not physically being around anyone Alex haven't feel so lonely.

Alex went out of the condo which his family and him reside and took an elevator to the upper floor.
Fifth floor would likely be fine he have this [Martyr] Ability.

Laying there on the floor his bone sticking out from his knee and blood pulling under him Alex felt amazing.
