If you told Adriel that in a far off future he would be fighting his sister in law with a slipper he would have look at you with confusion.
But here he was now.
He was about to hit the fifty third strike when he missed and because of that he started over again.
And was now on his twenty seventh strike in a row.
Lyka that goddamn Gorrila even without using her ability was a goddamn monster.
Multiple times she had almost been able to grab Adriel if Adriel had not smacked her hand away with his slipper and ran back towards the line.
"Have you even finished your quest?" Adriel asked her. After all this woman is still his sister in law it might be problematic for Racine's growth if he didn't meet this crazy lady.
"Already did" She said with that annoying deranged smile.
Adriel tossed the slippers again managing it hit the can once more.
Lyka immediatly fetched it and Adriel make a ran for it.
Just as Lyka placed down the can Adriel was already on the other line.
Wallace who had already finished his Quest sat under the shade of a Narra tree, possibly already experiencing the side effect of his power.
Adriel don't even have time to think with his own time running out, he had to finish this fast at this point he might even took the risk of killing his sister in law in the process.
'It's not like they know each other yet' Adriel this time without holding back tossed the slipper towards the can sending it flying away, After that he fetched his slipper and ran back to the line once more.
Like playing fetch with a dog, Adriel consistently aimed for the can not even giving Lyka any breather, with every moment Lyka placed the can on the can zone his slippers would come flying.
At this point Adriel wasn't even counting anymore his just gonna wing it till he reach his quest. He did miss a few times 'accidentally' hitting Lyka multiple times but that doesn't matter he had to end this.

Racine stay still on his spot multiple times he had shift positions but it doesn't exactly remove the fact that his eyelids had begun to slowly grow heavy as the time passed by.
Racine knew it had already been night time and for hours he had been contemplating on having a look outside but his self preservation hold him still.
'It always have been a waiting game for me huh?' Racine thought to himself. It indeed has come to his attention that lately after Adriel's sudden change and the already crazy world growing more crazier he had always been left waiting.
Staying still in one place and not making any sound.
Racine like any rational human being hate it.
Thinking about it Racine had always been an impatient one after all born with uncertainty it was very difficult to trust into something or someone.
'Adriel would come home soon, Me and Your father would just leave for a bit. We be back soon'
Racine's grip on the pole tightened.
'It would have been better if I was an awakened' Racine thought, 'But it turns out even on the end of the world I would never be anything special'
