Langdale Mansion
It's been hours and her heart and mind were no longer there. She was very nervous and antsy. She hasn't sat peacefully ever since her third son left the mansion.
"How is she?"
"What happened?"
The old lady has been muttering to herself for hours, worry overwhelming her and yet the courage to make a call was no longer there.
She was afraid that if she were to call, she might receive some bad news that would truly shock her. She was truly fond of that little girl and didn't want to see anything happening to her.
Housekeeper Miller seeing her worried like that, couldn't help but suggest cautiously, "Madam, why don't I call the third master and check what's happening? By now, he should be at the hospital."
Upon hearing that, the old lady stopped in her tracks for a moment as she pondered over that suggestion, but then she quickly shook her head in denial.
