"Well guys, looks like we made it to the east of Ferria,"
Raye said as he look towards the cities and town from afar on the volcanic mountains belt near the end of the road.
The Everlight party descends the volcanic mountains belt, marking their journey and now heading south to the royal palace. It is the first time that Auoun has seen the outside world. For his whole life he had been living inside a cave, the view of the outside world is truly aesthetics for him. Will also enjoys the picturesque view as he has always love enjoying nature.
The Everlight party continue walking and enters the first town in the east of the Kingdom of Ferria. While the west of Ferria is known as the 'land of dwarves', the east of Ferria are resides with their residents of a certain tribe that lived in the Kingdom of Ferria since the first dawn. They are known as the Rolken tribe, beings with the nose of a lion and the ears of a sheep. They are known as a far distance tribe from the beast folks. They may look weak and innocent from the outside, but they have the courage of a lion and work together in packs which made the Kingdom of Ferria the kingdom where their people are the most united against other people from other kingdoms.
As they reached into the first town, they were greeted with open arms and high hospitality. They were waving their hands, welcoming the Everlight party.
"Welcome to the first town right after the volcanic mountains belt, wow, I never expect to have many visitors in just a few days,"
"Are there other visitors who visited this town before us?"
"Yes, they are still here in fact, though they are quite a hassle for us, it would be nice if you're able to get rid of them,"
Raye decided to book an inn before heading to one of the attraction spot in this town. There was an ancient summoning site in this town. It now serves as a historical location for travelers to visit when stop by. It was located far away from the town for when the summoning occurs, it wouldn't disrupt the town folks and worse destroy the town.
The Everlight party went on a stroll in the town before visiting the site. They helped a few people and did some small quests such as running dome errands for the town folks. At dusk, they finally decided to visit the ancient summoning site and see what is all this commotion about the annoying visitors about. But when they arrived, they found themselves a familiar face that they had not seen in a few months.
"Riche, we had been here for two days, don't you think we should move on?"
A girl vexed in annoyance as a guy tries to push the boulder away.
"Edward, why aren't you helping me? Listen to your leader, not her!"
"Riche, you had been at this since yesterday, the town folks are mad at you for trying to touch the artifacts left behind, please stop and leave,"
A group of people sighed at the current state of their leader.
"Still as persistent as ever, Riche,"
Riche turned his head to find a familiar face that he had not seen in a while.
"Wait...I know you, we met before haven't we? You're Raye Winston, the party that defeated one of the warlock of calamity!"
"Yes, seems that you're trying to solve a puzzle again?"
"There's no puzzles this time, he is just so interested in the ancient artifacts that he tried to touch them but was stopped by the town folks, for that, they completely block of the only entrance, sealing it off until our party leave,"
The woman who said that was Jessy, the mage who had vexed earlier at Riche, the leader of the Enigma party.
"It's been a long time since we met, the Enigma party,"
Raye greeted them in a sense of nostalgia despite they only met for one time.
"It's nice to meet you again, Everlight party, that's your party's name right? Seems that you got yourself fame now,"
"You could say that,"
The one who replied to Raye is Fabio, the other mage of the Enigma party.
"It seems that you got new party members too!"
The one who said that stood behind Edward was Mikana, the party's priest.
"You're right, we are much fully complete now,"
Auoun stood out from the party and shook hands with the tank Edward. Despite both of them being tankers, Auoun's grip was much stronger than Edward expected.
"Nice to meet you,"
"Y-you have a very s-strong grip,"
"Hi I'm Amethia,"
"I'm Mikana, nice to meet you!"
"I'm Jessy, you're an elf?"
"Yes,"
Amethia had a bright smile on her face. Raye watches all from a side but was snapped out by Riche.
"Say, why don't you help us move this boulder,"
"Sorry but the town folks said that you had been at it for days, it's time for you guys to leave,"
"Looks like we are banned from this town now Riche, I told you to stop being persistent,"
Jessy complained at Riche.
"I'm sorry for troubling you to come out all your way just to inform us,"
"It's fine, we were planning to visit the ancient summoning site anyway, though it's now block off,"
"I'm so sorry about that,"
"It's fine,"
Suddenly, a loud thud sounded in front of Raye. He raises his head to see the boulder was pushed off by the dwarf, Auoun.
"Easy handled,"
Riche screech in joy as he quickly enters the site. Raye and the Enigma party tried to stop him but he was too fast.
"Auoun..."
"What? I thought he wanted in?"
The ancient summoning site was a small den made out of rock. To avoid the summoning ritual accidentally destroying the surrounding, they builded a small den to surround it, preventing it from spreading if it were to malfunction.
The Everlight party and the rest of the Enigma party followed up and enters the ancient summoning site. It is now night, the sky has fallen. The only light that is visible are from the town and the flame torch on Riche's hand.
He lit up the dark room to reveal a magic circle in red ink on the ground. There were tables on the side that has decayed over the years. On top of it were books and papers, showing analysis of the summoning back then. There were also ancient artifacts that helped with the summoning such as candles that oddly has not melted. Riche lit up the candles, brightening the room. Will looked around, he then picked up a book and read it. It was all in beast folk language, or Rolken tribe language. They have reside in this very land since the mid centuries, around the demon king era, where Will was still in the past.
During the demon king era, Will had read multiples book, each of every kind, including one in Rolken tribe language. After the first meeting between the Everliht party and the Enigma party, Riche decided to learn more about ancient language and others, to avoid making the same mistake he did back in the dune. It was essential for him if he were going to travel the world to solve ancient mysteries.
Riche took one of a book and look through it. Every pages one by one. The Enigma party was abut to stop him from going too far but suddenly, a loud thud suddenly sounded behind. They look back to see that they're trapped inside the den.
