As she descended from the helicopter, Bonny straightened her blazer with a charming smile on her face.
Johnny adjusted the straps on the bags slung over his shoulders, one of them clutched tightly in his grasp.
No doubt, they were filled with the equipment they would need for their work.
Running a hand through his hair, he looked around the place with awe in his eyes.
Nobody… no civilian was allowed inside the Vanguards' base, yet here the two of them were, standing in the most secure location in the city—second only to the residences of the Big Four.
"Welcome to the Vanguards' base, Miss Bonny," Chloe greeted with a warm smile as she bowed slightly in the woman's direction.
