Fifty years ago, a shower of meteors descended from the skies.

A black puff of smoke immediately enveloped Ray's area, obscuring the battlefield.


The ground was reduced to rubble as the mace descended with full destructive force, turning the stone into a wide and deep crater that yawned five meters across.


 A thick blanket of dust rose up, forcing Felix and Caster to freeze their charge.


"Brother!" Felix shouted in panic into the swirling dust.


 Fear gripped him as he questioned whether the Tribrid had survived or not. 


He didn't want to admit it—nobody did—but with the speed the mace had been descending, the Aspirant might not have made it out in time.


Then, a low growl resonated from the side, about six meters away from where the beast had smashed its weapon into the earth. 


Everybody's eyes widened as they caught sight of a wolf as large as a car. 


Matte black fur clung to its powerful frame.
