Fifty years ago, a shower of meteors descended from the skies.

Rushing to Ray's side, Kai and Felix immediately crashed to their knees beside the evolving Tribrid.


 Intense worry was etched onto their faces as they stared at Ray, who was currently bleeding, spasming, and screaming at jagged intervals.


"Wh-What happened to him?" Kai asked, his voice trembling as he took in the scene. 


He was paralyzed by indecision; he didn't even know what he could do to help. 


He hesitated to touch the boy, fearing that any physical contact might inadvertently worsen the situation, so he simply stared in horror. 


Looking back at Van, he searched the boy's face as if silently demanding an explanation.


"I-I also don't know. Those beasts just attacked us and he dealt with them. The next moment, he collapsed on the ground screaming," Van explained, his expression clouded with a mixture of concern and hidden knowledge.
