It was now the following day.
The previous night, Ray had already broached the subject with Kai regarding Chloe.
It hadn't actually taken long to convince the legacy to take the struggling girl under his tutelage.
Although Kai was visibly skeptical at first, Ray managed to persuade him with a bit of persistent prodding.
In Kai's own words, he had stated:
"It's only because of you that I'm even considering this. If it were anyone else asking, I wouldn't have bothered."
After informing the Tribrid exactly where and what time the girl was expected to meet him for their sessions, the message was promptly relayed back to her.
With everything finally set in motion, Ray just had to kick back, relax, and wait until she actually began to grow stronger.
At the moment, they had just finished their morning physical training and were currently grabbing a quick breakfast.
