Not only was his precious business being stolen, but the thieves who stole it were also preventing him from stealing his business back from them by passing the theft through the Will of the world. So he felt that he was being cheated in two ways.
The pain became too much when he saw the two items being traded and realized that they were Supreme Metacs that he didn't possess.
When he couldn't take it anymore, he said to Martial Will, "You could have come to me instead. I'm more trustworthy, you know."
In response, Martial Will shrugged and said, "But I don't have a Minor Dao to make the exchange."
"Is that really a good reason to trade down your Major Dao for a Minor Dao?" Loki asked in confusion. "I could have done that too."
