As she flew through the air, she hiccuped a little bit before saying, "It would have been great if I could get the help of a seer. But those three eye freaks see me coming from far away and will run away. What losers!"
She was grumbling and cursing when she heard fighting up ahead. The sounds of explosions broke through the fugue state of her mind and made her become a little bit alert.
But being alert was still too late for what came next. She first saw a blinding white flash. Then a wave of heat washed over her body.
The wave of heat was so powerful that nothing she could do could defend her from it. As the wave washed over her body, she caught fire before she disintegrated into ashes.
All that was left of her was a blackened spot behind her in the shape of a shadow. The blackened spot was also right on where her shadow used to be.
