She doesn't think he has two pathways. That can't be her first guess at all. What she thought was that he was a deceiver.
A deceiver can appear to be on different pathways with such skill that they can deceive even her. A deceiver would also be able to fool her Core Metac.
When combined with the fact that she had been lured here and that a rank 5 deceiver can make themselves appear to be at rank 4, she believed that she might be in trouble. So she flew back to create some distance between them.
