The mining proceeded as normal and I got to watch the machines mine away on the Mana Crystals.
The Gatekeeper was still stuck in the centre of the cavern until we could mine out the entrance to move it so it remained where it was all this time.
I've got to say though, seeing the faces of the miners when they saw the cavern full of Mana Crystals was definitely funny.
I was only there for the first part though, as the miners would be fine with my Guardians as well since they also have my blessing now to protect others from the miasma.
We still had to keep an eye out for stray Anomalies since the place wasn't completely clear of them yet but my Guardians should be able to handle them on their own.
Under normal circumstances, we would have also gotten Vanguards here to help guard the place but… Given that we were being cautious about spies, we had to keep the number of outsiders low.
