Ysabella shuddered slightly, her sense of touch heightened to the extreme. She could feel the cold tongue on her neck, and the suction force that came from his mouth to draw her blood.
It felt surreal, having blood escape her body, yet feel no pain.
Her resistance slowly vanished, replaced by something darker. Her grip on his arms tightened, and she tilted her head to let him drink better.
She didn't even realize what she was doing. Kaiser noticed her actions but didn't react. He was only going to drink her blood, nothing else.
If it were Kiera, perhaps…
Sensing her grip on his arm grow weaker, he pulled back and freed her from his hold.
He licked the blood from his lips, then muttered.
"Being a bloodling really changes my taste of blood, huh?"
It tasted like diluted honey. Not too sweet, but enjoyable.
'Not bad,' He thought.
Ysabella leaned against the railings, her knees trembling. Only when the feeling of pleasure vanish did she realize she was terribly weakened.
