"You… translated 'Forgotten Shore'?!"
Maya's voice was almost raised to a squeal as she flipped through the book. It looked neat, almost like a printed copy, but she recognized Kaiser's handwriting throughout the entire book.
This was really… really a book he had translated personally.
She bit her lip, looking conflicted. "Why… why would you even stress over that?"
Kaiser calmly replied. "You showed interest in that book during our first meeting, didn't you?"
Maya nodded, "Well, I did. It is a popular book, after all."
Kaiser shrugged. "Teaching you the Latin language would be quite a hassle, so I could only help you translate for now. At least it'll satisfy your curiosity for now."
Maya lowered her head, clutching the book tightly.
'He wants to teach me… why? Why is he treating me specially? Does he… like me?'
