Before Hughes and Wood could use their stronger destructive martial skills to slaughter each other, it loomed right behind Wood, using its short but incredibly strong arms to tightly clamp down on Wood's arms and lift Wood up into the air.
Wood, normally a gentleman of good etiquette, elegant and courteous, had now completely forgotten what etiquette was under the influence of the primal depravity caused by the black midges. He succumbed to humanity's most primal animalistic instincts, struggling madly like a wounded beast, growling, trying to bite and tear at anything nearby.
