The hard ground became loose and soft, and the weeds growing on it were flattened as if bulldozed by something. The originally flat ground was covered with sharp earth spikes half a meter high. A few wild rabbits foraging in the grass couldn't escape in time and were pierced straight through their bodies by the spikes, hanging suspended in mid-air.
Dark red blood flowed down the surface of the spikes onto the black earth, causing the already continuously moving ground to undulate even more violently, as if it were gestating some terrifying, dangerous, and evil creature.
This scene reminded people of the evil sacrifices of dark witches during the era of magic. Even Nigel, on his own side, couldn't help but frown in discomfort.
Several pitch-black shadows suddenly burst out from the ground, sweeping up the gale and sand, and howling as they charged toward the Wall ahead.
