A red-eyed rabbit intending to jump onto Nigel Ackerman was kicked away by him into the nearby bonfire. The orange-red flames licked the rabbit's grayish-white fur, quickly emitting an unpleasant burning smell.
The rabbit struggled and rolled around in the hot coals, kicking firewood and embers everywhere, causing Count Horatio to have to step back a few paces to avoid the sparks flying onto his body.
The rabbit very quickly stopped struggling. Its entire body was swallowed by the orange-red flames, leaving only a red-charred corpse and a heavy smell of roasted meat in the air.
The silver-armored Knight frowned, moving to the side with a bit of disgust.
