Xavier was willing to fish out a gold coin to buy flowers because he pitied that child; his starting point was good. For the hoarding dragon to be willing to share his gold coin with a stranger he met for the first time, Jasmine couldn't let Xavier's kindness become the kindling that killed that child.
Hearing this, Xavier widened his eyes, evidently not expecting that behind a small gold coin hid such danger. He slumped his shoulders, his expression very dejected: "Jasmine, did I do something wrong?"
"No." Through the rough cloth of the hood, Jasmine rubbed the back of Xavier's neck, smiling with praise: "Xavier did a good deed. At least for the next week, that child won't have to worry about the food issue anymore."
