Xavier narrowed his eyes, staring fixedly at that customer exiting the shop door, before whispering indignantly to Jasmine:
"Jasmine, that was a Dwarf. Hmph, don't think I didn't notice just because he wore a pair of height-enhancing wooden clogs."
"A Dwarf?" Jasmine was a bit surprised.
That customer's hood was pulled even lower than theirs. When he walked past, Jasmine only saw the other party's chin. Furthermore, his height was slightly taller than an ordinary person, and he was even wearing a longsword that only Knights would carry. If Xavier hadn't spoken up, Jasmine truly wouldn't have discovered the other party's Dwarf identity.
However, this was a human city. It was very normal for non-human races like Dwarves to disguise themselves as humans to conduct transactions, so Jasmine didn't think much about it.
