The Black Dragon territory had to have its own food source. Therefore, this year's planting was a major event for the entire territory. Since last year, Jasmine had instructed people to reclaim quite a few fields and even built several tanks specifically for composting fertilizer, all in preparation for this year's harvest season.
Besides the reclaimed fields around the castle, large tracts of fields were also reclaimed beside the lake at the foot of the Black Dragon Mountain. The fields there could draw lake water for direct irrigation, which was much more convenient than using the water around the castle. Therefore, Jasmine also planned to reclaim a few wet fields by the lake to plant rice.
