"I think I am going to die if I do not eat soon," Ningyan groaned dramatically as he rubbed his stomach.
He was currently disguised as a wolf beastman, his pained expression hidden behind the mask on his face as he walked beside a hooded Meishan.
"I'm sure we will come across an inn soon," Meishan said calmly, his eyes scanning the surrounding buildings.
They were currently walking through the busy streets of the Phoenix Clan territory after traveling for nearly a week.
But at least they had finally arrived.
Ningyan groaned again, this time hugging Meishan's arm. "I'm going to die."
"You are not going to die," Meishan replied with a small smile.
Ningyan simply groaned louder and swung himself dramatically on Meishan's arm while they continued walking.
Fortunately, Meishan soon spotted an inn.
They entered together.
Meishan made sure to request a very important beast section of the restaurant so they could eat in privacy.
