Rain poured heavily over Earth City.
The city was filled with towering trees, ancient stone buildings, and gardens overflowing with flowers. Strong winds pushed through the branches, shaking leaves and bending plants as sheets of rain struck the stone streets and rooftops.
Lanterns hanging from wooden posts swayed violently in the wind, their lights flickering.
Beastfolk moved through the streets in elegant bamboo hats, many carrying finely crafted umbrellas. Carriages drawn by spirit horses rolled steadily through the rain.
One carriage stood out from the rest. It was far more vibrant than the others. A royal carriage bearing the white tiger clan sigil.
Three additional carriages followed behind it as they moved through the storm until they finally entered the compound of the tallest structure in Earth City.
The structure was a massive pagoda that seemed to stretch endlessly into the sky. The upper floors disappeared into thick clouds and drifting mist.
