POV: Ashina
She found Seraphina in the library on the third floor.
The other Moon Priestess had discovered the library in her second week at Moonlit and had been returning to it regularly ever since, working her way through Kendrick's collection with the systematic attention of someone who had lost a library once and intended to take nothing for granted about having access to one now. She was sitting in the chair nearest the window when Ashina came in, a large volume open in her lap and a second one marked and waiting on the table beside her.
She looked up when Ashina entered, read her face, and closed the book.
"Tell me," she said.
