Before leaving Cameron City, Kai decided that there was one more thing they needed to take care of.
The two children needed new clothes.
Xian and Xinyi had been wearing the same few outfits for quite some time, and although their clothes were still usable, Kai felt that there was no reason to let them continue wearing worn-out clothing now that they were returning to the Codebreakers Shelter.
"We should get them some new clothes first," Farrah suggested after seeing Kai looking at their clothes.
Kai nodded in agreement. "Let's buy several sets for each of them."
The two children immediately became interested when they heard that.
"New clothes?" Xinyi asked, her eyes lighting up.
"Yes," Kai replied with a smile. "You can choose some of them yourself."
That was enough to make Xinyi excited.
