Although there was no hostility yet, his presence radiated menace. His eyes scanned the group, lingering on her, Vera, and other female survivors with a faint smirk.

The four-armed man spoke with a deep voice…
"And you have some pretty faces too. Perfect for what we're building. I am Aaron, a recruiter of the Superhuman Guild. Join us, and you'll receive the Special Mutation Gene. It will improve your power beyond anything you've known… in exchange for mutation. That's a cheap price of survival."
The group froze for a moment, exchanging glances. None of them had expected the towering figure to speak like that. From the way he blocked the road, they had assumed a fight was inevitable… not a recruitment pitch.
Juno tilted his head and muttered, "A recruiter? Out here?"
