The disk vessel shuddered as it was hit by the attacks… Still, the vessel remained floating…
Aurora fired her rifle, adding to the assault. Amer and the others followed, with their bullets crashing into the weakened forcefield or barrier that it was using…
Finally, with a loud crack, the disk's shield collapsed!
Kai shouted, "Now! Finish it!"
Atom fired one last plasma burst and this time, it passed through the vessel's frame!

The disk exploded in the air with flames engulfing its circular body.
Debris rained down, crushing several hounds beneath it.
Apparently, they seemed to have destroyed the remaining Bombers inside as well!
The survivors cheered, relief flooding through them.
