Kai flexed his hand and immediately felt the change.
His skin was tougher and felt denser. He tapped his forearm a few times, listening to the dull thud instead of the usual soft sound. Even at Level 0, the Gene Skill was still awakened!
"I guess it's working," he muttered.
After feeling satisfied, he decided not to use his Skill points yet. He decided to check the system's new feature…the World Chat.
As expected, the interface was empty. There was only one message displayed, the broadcast announcement.

[ Congratulations! Survivor Kai has become the FIRST to reach Level 20! ]
The same message was then repeated two more times.
Kai stared at it for a moment. He couldn't help but smile seeing this.
Curious about how this works, he tried typing a message.
[ Kai: I am here first. ]
The words appeared instantly in the chat window.
