Kai was already aware from the system's notification that the Gene Trader would appear at random locations.
Still, it didn't hurt to ask… perhaps the Augmented Human in front of him knew something the system hadn't revealed.
Hale's reply came after a short pause.
"If you're serious about finding him, check the areas where Field Tyrants have spawned. Traders often linger near places where dangerous variants appear… it draws attention, and it is where customers come looking for resources."
Kai nodded after hearing this.
However, Hale wasn't finished yet.
"If not there, search the ruins. Shady places, broken structures, anywhere the sunlight doesn't reach. The heat drives them underground. They prefer to wait in the shadows for those who know how to look."
Kai nodded, committing the advice to memory. The Gene Trader sounded elusive, but at least now he had a direction.
Finally, Hale adjusted his armor, preparing to leave.
But before stepping away, he gave one last warning.
