Chapter 31 - 31 | Dimensional Banner

[Aiden's POV]

[Commencing 10 Gacha Pulls under Dimensional Banner…]

[First time SSS-rank bonus applicable…]

This banner was most fascinating to me; from other banners I could guess the extent of rewards, but I only knew that I could get dungeons and realms.

However, looking at the system track record, I was sure this will be the most fascinating reward. The gacha mechanism was completed with one SSS-rank, one SS-rank, and the rest S-rank.

Keeping the process the same; I opened the first S-rank reward.

[Name: Frostbound Realm]

[Rank: S]

[Type: Cryo-Dominant Realm]

[Description: A frozen world locked in eternal snowfall and extreme cold. The realm produces pure ice elemental essences and cold-refined metals while strengthening ice-based cultivation techniques. Native ice spirits and frost beasts define the ecosystem.]

[Notice: You would have to find a fixed place to anchor this Realm before accessing it. This applies to all the pulls under the Dimensional Banner unless mentioned otherwise.]

– – –

"Ice spirits and beasts, but this is not a dungeon, so they won't fight? And what's with this anchor? I didn't use such a thing last time when I accessed a one-time dungeon." Fascinated and confused, I asked.

[You have to explore each realm on your own, or you could send your subordinates or summons to do that.]

[One-time dungeons don't need to be stable for a long time. However, for a permanent dungeon or realm, you need an anchor point. Simply, a fixed and safe location.]

"Hmm…okay, this would be hectic but can be used in different ways." I remarked as multiple thoughts about Anchor Point and its use to benefit myself or my goal originated.

Due to lack of reaction, I turned to see Thane turned his back and not wanting to look at the reward screen.

Seraphine was just sitting, but she looked lost in some emotional turmoil, probably about the cultivation technique, I thought.

Seeing her like that, I decided to not disturb her, and Thane probably didn't want to see S-rank rewards being treated as the lowest.

I could sympathize with him; anywhere else, if such a realm was rumored to make an appearance, then there would be bloodshed unless it's under the rulers of the continent.

However, I had seen and used Transcendent and Infinite Rank rewards, so this wasn't very overwhelming to me.

Moving on, I opened all S-rank rewards one by one. All the rewards just reminded me once again of the absurdity of my life.

[Name: Sunward Caravan Basin]

[Rank: S]

[Type: Trade & Resource Desert Realm]

[Description: A vast desert realm crossed by ancient trade routes and merchant caravans. The region produces solar-infused sand, heat-refined metals, and spirit glass. Development and interaction enhance trade value, resource yield, and regional stability.]

– – –

"Fascinating, but this seems more like something under the resource banner," I remarked.

[The dimensional banner is the most versatile and flexible banner, so it overlaps with almost all other banners.]

Nodding my head in understanding, I looked at the next reward.

– – –

[Name: StormVault Sky Isles]

[Rank: S]

[Type: Floating Island Chain Realm]

[Description: A chain of drifting sky islands surrounded by perpetual storms and lightning currents. The realm is rich in lightning essence and sky-metals.

Home to the Lightning Beast tribe, it can serve as a natural training ground for lightning mastery, aerial combat, and flight-based techniques.]

– – –

"This is the third elemental essence; earlier I got Fire Essence in the Resource banner. Now, Ice and Lightning, the only thing that remains is for me to break through to Ascendant Rank and start forming Affinity rings." Pleased with the reward, I stated, "Next."

– – –

[Name: Paxara Eternal Sanctuary]

[Rank: S]

[Type: Peace-loving Realm]

[Description: A tranquil realm inhabited by several peace-loving yet extremely powerful humanoid species. Violence is heavily restricted by natural realm laws. Ownership is impossible, but you possess a permanent entry pass granting unrestricted access and interaction privileges.]

– – –

"Weird," I commented as I read the description, "but still unique, and I haven't even reached SS and SSS."

– – –

[Name: Ashen Mana Expanse]

[Rank: S]

[Type: Pure Mana Vein Realm]

[Description: A lifeless but highly stable realm overflowing with naturally condensed mana stones and refined mana crystals. The environment provides passive cultivation enhancement and continuously regenerates mana resources, making it an ideal long-term energy supply zone.]

– – –

"Hahaha…" I laughed unconsciously.

"Boss, you also got mad after such rewards, huh!" Thane commented after his long silence.

"Master is not mad; he is happy. Can't you even see properly, Bones?" Seraphine interjected.

"Look at the reward panel and you will understand," I added after my uncontrolled laughter.

Both looked; silence reigned for a second. Thane, as always, was first to comment.

"I was right to turn my back; I am not watching any reward panel from now on." With that, he turned his back again.

"This will be very helpful in cultivation and for your goals, master," Seraphine joyously remarked.

"Yeah, I won't have to worry about capital for a long time, at least I think," I replied. Like a honeybee to nectar, I moved to the next reward; this banner was mind-blowing while still being S-rank.

The next three S-ranks were in no way less intriguing or useful than the rest.

One was a mining realm—Black Iron Maw Depths.

The last second S-rank was a Beast-Dominated Wild Realm—Verdant Fang Expanse.

The last S-rank was the most exciting and useful in my goals, a beginner-tier dungeon—The Primal Quadrant.

With all the S-rank rewards checked, now it was only the SS-rank rewards.

– – –

[Name: Starfall Dungeon]

[Rank: SS]

[Type: Self-renewal Mid-tier Dungeon]

[Description: A colossal 50-floor dungeon formed from the remains of a fallen star-worshipping civilization. Monster strength progresses from Ascendant to Saint rank, with later floors enforcing extreme environments and advanced combat intelligence.]

[Notice: Once you anchor the dungeon, you need to conquer the complete dungeon to gain ownership.]

– – –

The note was the same as S-rank, so if I want to own the dungeon, I still have to clear it. Well, at least something is similar to the current world.

This reward was very important strategically for me, besides being a resource. Now it was the final pull, the burning red card. It exploded with the same fervor before showing the result.

– – –

[Name: Genesis Sanctuary]

[Rank: SSS]

[Type: Sealed world / Living Civilization Vault]

[Description: This is a complete world created to preserve powerful races at the peak of their civilization. Entire species—cities, ecosystems, and cultures—exist in a sealed dormant state, neither dead nor active.]

[Note: Each race was sealed by mysterious intervention, either to prevent their extinction or because their growth became too threatening to higher planes.

The world itself is stable and calm, designed to sustain life indefinitely without decay.]

[Enter the Sanctuary to gain more information about the races sealed and the world.]

'Stop giving me Living Realm,' I screamed in my mind this time to avoid causing a scene.

'I already have a realm, the Primeval Dominion, and now this Sanctuary filled with sealed races. They are just going to increase my workload.' I complained to the system mentally.

The system has no control over the rewards you get in the pulls. I only perform the pulls and manipulate the banners. Rewards are totally up to your luck.

'I don't want to be this lucky then,' I replied back.

'Well, whatever. I am not touching this banner anytime soon again.' I decided. I didn't want to pile up such realms, especially where real lives were affected.

However, before my thoughts could move further. A system panel appeared again.

[Due to hoarding of all the rewards by the host. A new permanent banner has been added.]

'More banner,' my brows raised at the expectation of a new banner.

[The new Permanent Banner is…]
