Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Tony Asks for Help and Encounters Spider-Man

Manhattan National Park Villa District.

As one of the most prosperous areas in New York, every inch of land here was worth a fortune.

But wealth alone wasn't enough to buy property in this district. Without powerful connections, even billionaires couldn't get in.

At the Rockefeller family estate, Deka ran into his father, Os, who had just returned from visiting his mistress. The man's expression darkened immediately when he saw his son's swollen cheek, a clear slap mark imprinted across it.

"Who did this?" Os demanded coldly.

"It was a man named Steve," Deka whined, his voice trembling. "Tony Stark knows him too—he called him Captain."

With tears and snot running down his face, Deka exaggerated the story of what happened at the nightclub, making sure to add plenty of details that painted him as the victim.

"Dad, you have to help me! Have we been too low-key lately? People think they can just challenge us to our faces!"

He pointed to his cheek. "This isn't just an insult to me—it's a slap in the face to our family!"

Powerful families all shared one thing in common: they valued reputation above all else.

To maintain control, they needed to make examples out of anyone who dared to challenge them.

Os knew exactly what kind of person his son was, but when he learned that the vampire princess Nisha had been taken away, his expression grew grim.

The existence of vampires wasn't exactly a secret among the world's elite families. They had survived this long through careful political marriages and mutual benefits.

After all, vampires originated from humans—there was no issue with intermarriage.

Os's plan had been simple: marry his youngest son to Princess Nisha, gain the support of the Vampire King, and strengthen his influence to compete for the position of family patriarch.

"I understand," Os said finally. "I'll handle this. Find Nisha and bring her back. Do not fail."

"Yes, Father!" Deka's smile turned twisted. He was determined to teach Steve Rogers a lesson.

To him, Captain America was nothing more than a government dog—a soldier who forgot who owned the leash.

The next morning.

Steve hadn't killed Wei Lian. He wasn't the kind of man to use someone and discard them cruelly.

Seeing that Steve didn't go too far, Wei Lian relaxed slightly—only to feel a sudden jolt as he resumed "training" her.

"Captain, I can't take it anymore…" she gasped.

At first, she had resisted out of fear. Later, she found herself moving with him willingly.

Then—Steve's phone rang.

He answered mid-exercise. "Explain," he said curtly.

On the other end, Alexander Pierce sounded both cautious and uneasy. "Os, the president of COSCO, called Senator Stern. Stern called me, demanding an explanation. Did you have a conflict with his son, Deka?"

"Os is powerful in both the Senate and the military," Pierce warned. He already suspected Steve wasn't as noble as his public image suggested. Beneath the surface, Captain America was cunning, pragmatic, and very capable of manipulation.

"Then how do we fix it?" Steve asked, his tone calm as he continued his morning routine.

"It's not hard," Pierce replied. "We can trade some of his dirt to settle things quietly. But bringing him down completely will be difficult."

"Why take him down?" Steve chuckled. "Just keep him contained. I'll handle this. Keep him distracted for half a month—that's enough."

"Yes, Leader."

When the call ended, Pierce frowned, dialing again. Playing Tai Chi, huh? he thought. We're all foxes here—who's fooling who?

Moments later, Steve received another call.

"Captain Rogers, this is J.A.R.V.I.S.," said the smooth voice of Tony's AI. "Please come to the villa. Master Tony is in trouble."

An AI requesting help on its own—that was unexpected.

After a quick briefing, Steve understood the situation.

The previous night, Tony Stark had felt bored after parting ways with Steve. He'd heard that Stark Industries was hosting a charity dinner—but, strangely, the board hadn't invited him.

Curious and annoyed, Tony decided to attend anyway, intending to ask President Obama directly about reports that Stark Industries weapons were being sold in the Middle East.

But instead of answers, Obama had revealed his true colors. He admitted that Tony's removal from the board was deliberate—to cut him out of the company's military contracts.

The result was catastrophic. Stark Industries' stock price plummeted, business shrank, and the other shareholders sided with Obama, officially removing Tony from decision-making authority.

Thankfully, Pepper Potts, as vice president, still held influence—but she wasn't in charge of weapons development, so she couldn't intervene.

Frustrated and humiliated, Tony returned to his villa to work on improving his armor.

That's when Obama unexpectedly arrived to "apologize."

He paralyzed Tony with a high-frequency ultrasonic weapon and used an extractor device to remove the miniature Arc Reactor from Tony's chest—the very thing keeping him alive.

Without it, the shrapnel embedded near his heart began pressing into his arteries, leaving him immobilized and dying.

Steve frowned. In broad daylight? That's bold.

"I see," he said coldly, hanging up.

He left Nisha and Wei Lian in the villa and started his motorcycle. Activating the liquid nitrogen accelerator, he sped straight toward downtown Manhattan.

At the base of a skyscraper, Steve tilted the handlebars and accelerated.

The motorcycle roared upward—vertically—leaving pedestrians below gaping in disbelief.

Phones came out instantly.

"That's insane!"

"Am I seeing things? A motorcycle just drove up a wall!"

"Wait—that's Captain America!"

Among the onlookers, Peter Parker—Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man—was delivering pizzas nearby. He stared up in awe, eyes full of admiration.

He really is something else…

A short distance away, a man in a leather jacket and sunglasses—Johnny Blaze, the former stunt motorcyclist known as Ghost Rider—also watched, stunned.

"Now that's a stunt," he muttered, eyes gleaming.

Steve wasn't showing off; he was making a statement. He wanted everyone—including the Rockefellers—to see his strength.

If they wanted a fight, he'd give them one—and crush the competition while he was at it.

In less than a minute, he reached the top of a 300-meter-tall skyscraper.

The wind howled as he twisted the throttle.

The motorcycle burst from the rooftop railing, and the gliders on either side deployed instantly, propelling him forward like a missile toward Tony Stark's seaside villa.

The breathtaking scene was caught on dozens of cameras, flooding social media within minutes.

Among those watching was Johnny Blaze, who smirked. "Maybe I should try that sometime."

Nearby, a beautiful reporter in red heels—Roxanne Simpson, Johnny's ex-girlfriend—filmed the moment live.

"This is today's exclusive report!" she announced excitedly into the camera.
