"What? H-how?" I blurted out in disbelief.
"Ask your father or perhaps your sister, Deborah. She will tell you. Right now, my hands are full." He casually said and turned around as he began to walk away.
I stood stunned with wide eyes before turning to look at Eric who was watching the young boy leave.
"Do you believe him?"
At my question, he looked at me with that serious expression and said, "Anything is possible when it comes to your father."
Sighing, I turned to look at the boy just to discover that he was nowhere to be found and I sighed heavily.
At this point I had seen so many odd things that I did not even bother questioning them.
"You should put on more proper clothes, Ruby." Eric reminded me.
"Does it bother you?" I teased him.
"Of course it does. You are my woman after all." He calmly declared and my eyes widened at his confident words.
