"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" I roared in disbelief as the royal guards cowered in fear while on their knees.
"MY SON HAS LEFT THE PALACE UNSEEN?!!!" I repeated my question again as my voice thundered and one of them made an attempt to speak.
"I HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD EXPLANATION TO GIVE," I yelled at him and he stepped forward on his knees and spoke.
"It appears he left, your majest-"
"THERE IS A NOTE!!!" Someone yelled as she burst in through the open entrance of the throne room with a white folded piece of paper in her right hand as she lifted it up.
It was one of my daughters, Elise, and she had a worried but relieved look and I got up from my throne with my mind already thinking of many reasons why he would leave the kingdom unchaperoned.
As she hurried to the front, I stepped down from my throne and personally took the note from her before opening it to see what he had written…
