"Have you seen Lord Chadwick?" I asked one of the passing maids and she shook her head in response.
I never knew Lord Chadwick can be such a fun person and he acts so well to a point it begins to feel believable.
Everyday I found myself looking forward to seeing him because no one else was worth looking forward to.
'And no…I am not romantically attracted to him.'
On my way, I met the butler and asked him the same question and his response was, "I haven't seen him this morning, Lady Ellen. Did you both schedule a meeting of some sort?"
"Yes, we did," I responded.
"Don't you both have a spot you always meet?" He went on to ask and my eyes lit in realization.
"Ah! The field by the stables." I eagerly answered and hurried away.
Initially, the plan was for me to get Eric to like me but as time passed by, Chadwick got the entertainment he needed and I was happy to keep him all the company since his daughters were away.
