Dear Bridget,
It is with great difficulty that I write to you to inform you of your cousin's death, Quincy.
He had an affair with the queen and my wife and as custom, they are to be killed for committing such an abominable act, which is why he is now dead. I cannot say I am sorry as I am deeply hurt and betrayed by the pain he has caused me.
So much has happened that I cannot say over a piece of paper because it will be too much to put down in writing.

A month after sending that letter, I withdrew in solitude while putting kingdom duty on hold until when I am fit to focus on it.
